If you've only lived at your address for a short time, less than the 6 years that credit card companys want to, what can you do?
You should ensure you're registered at the electoral register at your
new address.
You should give your previous addresses as your credit history check
will look at your previous addresses.
If you've only recently moved you may find that some companies won't authorise
you a credit card, (Or contract mobile phones). Often this is because
they don't want to risk fraudelent use of a card. This is really for your
safety - once you've got your name on all your bills and moved other credit
type stuff (and bank accounts) to your new address you shouldn't find
any problems.
